Meet beautiful Winky, he’s a 7 year old Himalayan Persian cat. He had tough life of neglect for his first 5 years. He was abandoned and then rescued by an adoption agency. Then he was given to his previous parent and sadly she neglected him too. His current owner took him on sort of by accident nearly 2 years ago, and tried to give him a totally uncompromising quality of life. Really quite extreme levels of care for a cat. 

His character has now TOTALLY changed. He used to be unable to open his eyes for longer than a few seconds, he was in agony from untreated dental disease and used to hide all day. Nowadays he is outgoing, vocal, affectionate, adventurous and super playful. He has a remarkably gentle disposition. Every time he goes to the vet, they comment on how good-natured he is when they have to poke and prod him.
