    What I need from you

When I’m creating something original just for you, it’s important that I start with as much input as possible, so that you get exactly what you’re looking for. The best portraits are those that capture something about a person or pet’s character or a special moment.
When sketching portraits, I tend to work from a favourite photo but, to ensure I get the best likeness, it can help to have supplementary photos or even video – it can be hard to capture the personality of someone you haven’t met and, although you know the person intimately, I will base my work solely on the images supplied. See my guide to choosing a great photo. The better the input, and more detail I can see, the better the finished result.

    Framing

Unless otherwise stated (i.e. framed wildlife art prints), portraits are supplied unframed as standard. They are beautifully packed and securely mounted ready for you to take to a professional framer though! However, I can arrange framing for UK customers so, if you would like me to do this for you, please let me know what style of frame and mount you prefer and I will get back to you with some options and costs. See my guide to choosing frames and mounts for your portrait.

    Delivery

UK Orders: Packing and delivery usually costs £10 – as standard, your portrait is mounted and wrapped for presentation and sent via recorded 24hr delivery. This may vary depending on the item’s size, where it’s going, and how it needs to be packed, but I’ll always give you an up-front quote so there are no nasty surprises. If you’re reasonably local to South West Surrey, you’re welcome to pop in and collect it at no charge – it would be lovely to meet you!

International Orders – EU & NI: Unfortunately, due to EU General Product Safety Regulations, I am unable to ship to EU of Northern Ireland addresses from 13 December 2024. Read more about GPSR here.

International Orders – Non-EU: I’m happy to post portraits overseas. As a guide, it costs around £20 to Europe and £25 to USA and Australia but I will always confirm delivery charges before accepting a commission. Again, your portrait is mounted and wrapped for presentation and sent via a tracked, insured service.

    Payment

For commissions, I charge 50% on acceptance, with the balance payable on completion prior to dispatch – I will send you a photo of the drawing to ensure you are totally happy with what I have created before accepting final payment.
Payment is via bank transfer, PayPal, cheque, or cash (if collecting).

    Guarantee and Returns

I want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase so, if you are not completely satisfied for any reason whatsoever, just get in touch and we’ll resolve it. However, I’ll be in regular contact during your commission and will send you photos so that we can make corrections as we go on. I won’t dispatch your portrait until you’re 100% happy with it.

All around, working with Angie has been a fantastic experience. Besides her enormous talent, from the first contact I had with her, after seeing some of her work online, to receiving a beautiful completed drawing, the experience has been more than satisfying in every way. Most importantly, Angie's rendering of my best pal seems almost to have brought him back to life. I couldn't be more pleased.

I’m very pleased with my artwork that I commissioned Angie to draw for me.I wanted a birthday present for my fiancée, so chose a portrait of our lovely dog Ruby, an 11 year old Yorkie-Poo.Both of us love the end result of this original piece! Here it is taking pride of place on our kitchen wall (my photo doesn’t do it justice, but it’s hard to avoid my reflection in its frame!).

I’ve followed Angie on Instagram for a long time and recently commissioned a beautiful portrait of my family dog, Bella, in a bluebell wood drawn in pastels. Angie has captured Bella perfectly and is incredibly talented. Angie is wonderful to deal with and worked with me to design the brief sending examples of ideas which was incredibly helpful. Angie is very responsive on email and sent me photograph updates throughout her work on Bella which was hugely appreciated. I was blown away by the portrait and can’t wait to gift it to my parents. I’d recommend Angie to anyone who is looking for a top quality portrait of their beloved pet. I’ll definitely be using Angie again in the future and recommending Angie to all of my friends and family!

A superb artist bringing animals to life. When I saw a photo of the part-finished portrait that I commissioned I gasped. When I saw the final product I literally got goosebumps. I am a wildlife art collector and this is stunning work at an unbelievable price.
